SPANIARD (Arshad Alam) planted, refused to come out of the Starting Gate and did not take part in the Race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on Race Days on the race track.

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of MR CARPE, reported that his mount was hanging 'out', rounding the bend and drifted towards the outer portion of the race track thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported.
