ALCAZAAR (Irvan Singh) was examined at the Gates and was observed to be trotting lame on right hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that the right fore shoe of BRYANT PARK (Ajeet Kumar) had apparently come off during the Race.
