Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Bobby to declare Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs to ride WINGED KING.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath to declare Jockey Sahanawaz to ride ESOTERICAL.

WILDERNESS (Ryan Marshall) was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders on veterinary grounds as it got cast in the Gates and was observed to be walking lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SUFFICIENT PROOF (A Vishwanath) reared up as the Gates opened, thereby losing a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey A Vishwanath, the rider of SUFFICIENT PROOF, reported that his saddle shifted back soon after the start. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey M Madhu Babu, the rider of EVANDER, reported that his saddle shifted back soon after the start. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of GRAND CELEBRATION, placed Third by the Judge, lodged objection against Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the rider of CAMPEON, placed Second by the Judge, for 'taking my horse all the way out from bend' and also, against Jockey  Sahanawaz, the rider of  ESOTERICAL, placed First by the Judge, for, 'the winner came onto me, bumped me at final 50 Metres, when my horse was about to raise a gallop. This cost me a certain Race'. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned and also Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of TUSKER. After deliberations, they decided to [a] Upheld the objection lodged by Jockey V R Jagdeesh against Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the rider of CAMPEON, placed Second by the Judge; (b) Overrule the objection lodged by Jockey V R Jagdeesh against Jockey Sahanawaz, the rider of ESOTERIAL, placed First by the Judge, and revised the order of placings as under:

Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of GRAND CELEBRATION, reported that his mount was running green.  

Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the rider of CAMPEON, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course and allowing his mount to shift 'out', thereby causing interrference to TUSKER (Irvan Singh) and GRAND CELEBRATION (V R Jagdeesh) on his outside, between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres.

Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of GRAND CELEBRATION, was fined Rs.3,000/- for extravagant and improper use of the whip on his mount, during the Race.

It was reported after the Race that the left hind shoe of CAMPEON (Ajeet Kumar) had apparently come off during the Race.

CAMPEON (Ajeet Kumar) sustained injury over inner bulb of heel.

EVANDER (M Madhu Babu) sustained cut over left fore knee.
