As Jockey Kavraj Singh, the declared rider of ABSOLUTE BRAVE, could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagements for reasons beyond his control, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan to substitute Jockey Sahanawaz to ride ABSOLUTE BRAVE in place of the declared rider.

ABSOLUTE BRAVE (Sahanawaz) accidentally brushed the False Rails, approaching the 1000 Metres.

SPEARTOOTH (Nitin Singh), fell back after entering the straight and thereafter, ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

It was observed during the Race that the Girth leather of the Saddle on GLORIOUS LIGHT (Keanen G Steyn), got unfastened from the buckle and the Girth was dangling, approaching the 600 Metres. The rider was questioned immediately after the Race at the Paddock and he stated that although the Girth had come off, apparently with the support of the Surcingle and Breast Plate, his saddle was intact, did not shift either forward or backward and that did not hamper him from riding out his mount. The Saddle was checked at the Paddock and was observed to be in proper position. The Trainer and the rider were examined and the equipment was thoroughly checked and was observed to have been otherwise well maintained. However, Trainer Mr. B K Narendra was fined Rs. 5,000/- for his negligence pertaining to saddling and was cautioned that a repetition of this would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

Jockey G Sai Vamshi, the rider of SOCIETY MUSIC, placed Third by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of FLASH DRIVE, placed First by the Judge, for 'at 500 Metres as I was making my move, the Winner came in sharply and bumped me, thereby I was unbalanced and had to check my mount and that cost me the Race'. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
