WILDERNESS (Sahanawaz) was extremely fractious at the Gates and refused to be stalled; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

GREEN EMERALD (H G Rathod) veered 'out' onto the outer sand track after jump out, refused to raise gallop and, thereafter, did not take part in the Race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on Race Days on the race track.

Jockey Nazim, the rider of FELIX LEGION, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the Race.

Trainer Mr. K Somashekar was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge, GROUND MARSHAL (Mudassar Nazar), the Winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.44 of the Mysore Summer Races 2015, i.e., The Pinakini Plate (About) 1400 Metres for horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over, run on Second Extra Day, Tuesday, 16th June, 2015, when ridden by the same rider, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated that (a) the last run was its first run after nearly four months of gap; (b) in its last run, the horse, although ran unplaced, finished within about 5 lengths from the Winner; (c) in that run, the left fore shoe of the horse had apparently come off during the Race, which might have affected its performance to some extent; (d) subsequent to that run, it was given a drop of four points; (e) with all these factors, his horse just about won this Race as an un-fancied runner. His explanations were noted.

GOLDEN STEPS (Shrikant Kamble) sustained small cut inside right hind pastern.

CHARM AND DREAM (Imran Chisty) sustained cut injury on left fore outer bulb of heel.

It was reported after the Race that the left fore shoe of GROUND MARSHAL (Mudassar Nazar) had apparently come off during the Race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g GROUND MARSHAL.
