NEW SUNRISE (G Sai Vamshi) fell while saddling, sustained bruises over right fore shoulder and was observed to be trotting lame on right hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to  be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. K Somashekar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

LA PIPERI (Dilip Singh) took a fly jump, at the start.

PEPPER KING (Sahanawaz) accidentally brushed the False Rails, approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the rider of SHRESTH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for improper use of the whip, thereby, allowing it to drift 'out' in the straight.

Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and Jockey Nitin Singh were questioned regarding the running and riding of ENSATUS ELEGANS, especially, as to the reason for the rider taking a long lead, whereby, his mount packed up in the last 400 Metres. The Trainer stated that (a) he had specifically instructed the rider to go to the front but not to take a long lead; (b) at the same time, he had instructed not to upset the rhythm of the horse by repeatedly juggling with the reins of his mount; (c) as per his observations, his charge went to the front, but, the rider could not control and allowed it to take a long lead, as a result of which, his charge did not have anything left after entering the straight; The rider stated that (a) he took a lead, but, did not want to upset the free running of the horse by repeatedly checking it, (b) but, the horse took off and he had to be in the front; The Trainer, when questioned, further stated that his charge will be instructed to be ridden in front in future also. While noting their explanations, Jockey Nitin Singh was cautioned to be judicious in handling of his mounts in future.

PEPPER KING (Sahanawaz) sustained cut on right stifle.

ENSATUS ELEGANS (Nitin Singh) sustained a long cut on right hind outer cannon.
