Trainer Mr. V Lokanath was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for accepting his charge, BEAUTY IS TRUTH, to run in this Race without showing it in Two Jump Outs on Starting Gate Practice Days when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently, it was permitted to be withdrawn, from the above Race.

Jockey Nitin Singh, the rider of GASCONY, reported that he lost his left stirrup soon after the start, which, he regained within a few strides.
