As Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the declared rider of ZERMATT, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde [deputizing for Trainer Mr. B Prithviraj] to substitute Jockey G Sai Vamshi to ride ZERMATT, in place of the declared rider.

SPEEDSTRESS (N Rajesh) pulled up lame during the race, as a result the rider dismounted from the horse. Upon examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer, it was found to have sustained hip bone fracture and hence, it was euthanized.
