As Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the declared rider of EVALINA, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Fifth Race and as no suitable substitute Jockey was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S M Johnson to withdraw EVALINA from the above Race.

CARISA (R Anand) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey R Anand, the rider of CARISA, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent Race.

Jockey Nirmal Jodha, the rider of MR CARPE, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' throughout the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Steward, the Stewards ordered and held a enquiry immediately after the Race pertaining to start of the above Race, wherein Jockey B Harish, the rider of ARRETE, drawn one, jumped out of the Starting Gates, with his leg off the stirrup iron thereby unbalancing himself, soon after the Start; The Stewards examined the Starter Mr. Shanmukha Swamy, and also, Jockeys B Harish and Nitin Singh, whose mount was drawn two. After due deliberations, they decided not to alter the Placings as declared by the Judge. Further enquiry is being held into the riding of Jockey B Harish on his mount ARRETE, in the above Race.

It was reported after the Race that COSMIC TOUCH (Arshad Alam) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that VIJAYS BEST (M Madhu Babu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

RIO GRANDE (Sahanawaz) sustained bleeding cut on left hind outer cannon.
