Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of FLASH DRIVE, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' badly in the closing stages of the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but, no abnormality was reported. However, Jockey Mudassar Nazar was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SOFAST (A Imran Khan), on his inside, which in turn, went onto MURCILAGO (A Vishwanath), further on the inside, in the closing stages of the above Race.
 
An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of FLASH DRIVE (Mudassar Nazar), trained by Mr. G Srinivas Babu, the winner of the above Race, in relation to its previous run in Race No. 63, of the Mysore Winter Races 2015-16, i.e., The Christmas Plate – (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 80 and above, run on 7th Day, Wednesday, 23rd December, 2015, when ridden by Jockey Nitin Singh, it ran unplaced.
