NEW SUNRISE (H G Rathod) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. K Somashekar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

ALPINE SHINE (S Mubarak) was slowly away, and thereafter, went down on the left hind quarters, dislodging the rider, passing the 1100 Metres. Upon immediate veterinary examination, it was reported to have sustained fracture of right hind tibia and hence was euthanized.

Jockey K Mukesh Kumar, the rider BELLE ETOILE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing severe interference to horses on his outside, viz., NATURAL NINE (Amyn Merchant), ZAMINDAR (C Umesh) and BLACKWIND (Arshad Alam), passing the 250 Metres.

Jockey S G Prasad, the rider of ESOTERICAL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and taking out BRIGADIER (Md. Sameer) in the final 150 Metres of the Race.

Jockey S G Prasad, the rider of ESOTERICAL, reported that his saddle shifted back, in the last 30 Metres of the Race. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of BLACKWIND, placed Third by the Judge, lodged objection against Jockey S G Prasad, the rider of ESOTERICAL, placed Second by the Judge, for “in the last 100 Metres, 'he' shifted 'in' badly, thereby, blocking my move and my horse also clipped ESOTERICAL; I had to, thereby, check my mount and that costed me the race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys Arshad Alam and S G Prasad. After deliberations, they decided tooverrule the objection.

Jockey S Manohar, the rider of ZIZZI, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient efforts on his mount during the Race.

BLACKWIND (Arshad Alam) sustained bruise on right hock.
