Racing Incidents

Jockey R Ajay Kumar, the rider of CLASS ABOVE, was reprimanded in the presence of Trainer Mr. C  V G K Kishore for the inappropriate use of his left rein during the closing stages of the Race. He was further informed that repetition of similar manner of riding in future would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

It was reported after the Race that DREAMLINER (S Manohar) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the relative performance of CLASS ABOVE (R Ajay Kumar and Trained by Mr. C V G K Kishore), the Winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.45 of the Mysore Summer Races 2016, i.e., The Kodlipet Plate (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, run on Sixth Day, Wednesday, 22nd June, 2016, when ridden by Jockey R Ajay Kumar, it ran unplaced.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g CLASS ABOVE.
