EON (M Madhu Babu) planted and lost many lengths at the start; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

Jockey Nitin Singh, the rider of GUSTY WIND, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. M Eshwar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it, again.

Trainer Mr. S Dominic and Jockey S John were questioned regarding the running and riding of RAFA; Trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to keep his charge in second, or third position and to ride out in the straight; (b) he himself was surprised as to how the rider went to the front; (c) his horse ran much below expectations, although it was carrying the top weight and giving weight to the other runners; and (d) whatever it might be, he was shocked at its very poor performance of finishing last. The Jockey, when questioned, stated that (a) after jump out, he held his horse and there was no pace in the Race as could be observed from the timing of the first two furlongs (b) he held the horse as much as possible and the other two runners, who came alongside him later, gradually, checked their mount and he was committed to ride it in front; (c) he, therefore, right through, rode his mount in check; (d) but, after entering the straight, gradually, his mount packed up to finish last; He further suggested that there must be some internal ailment for the horse to perform so badly. While noting their explanations, the horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was also Endoscoped. The Veterinary Officer reported that on Endoscopic examination, the horse was found to have suffered from Grade III Pulmonary Haemorrhage (EIPH). Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed to obtain a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
