As Jockey Akash Agarwal, the declared rider of ZOE, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Fourth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey Noorulla to ride ZOE in place of the declared rider.

It was observed that one of lead pieces from the lead bag of the saddle on b g KIR ROYALE (Cedric Segeon), had fallen, when the horse was being rolled behind the Starting Gates, prior to loading. Due to paucity of time Jockey Cedric Segeon could not be re-weighed again, and as such, the horse was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders; After the Race, the equipment was thoroughly examined and was observed to be maintained in an unserviceable condition. Hence Jockey Cedric Segeon was fined Rs.5,000/- for his negligence and was cautioned that more careful pertaining the the maintenance of his equipment in future.

CERZAMA (S R Santosh Kumar) jumped out awkwardly at the start.
