It was reported after the Race that SIVANTA (Shiva Kumar) pulled up lame on right fore; Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi and Jockey Shiva Kumar were questioned regarding the running and riding of ch g SIVANTA, In the above Race. The Trainer stated that; (a) He had instructed his rider to go to the front and maintain a one to two lengths lead as it had run a forward Race in its previous Run; (b) The rider, in the above Race, had struggled to keep the horse back and as such, it established a very long lead and could not sustain the pace till the end; The Jockey when questioned stated that; (a) He was instructed to go to the front and maintain a one to two lengths lead; (b) But his mount dragged him to the front and despite his best efforts to check his mount, he could not do so; (c) So he settled him in the front and rode out, but the winner passed him in the end; While noting their explanations, Jockey Shiva Kumar was informed that he should be more judicious in the handling of his mounts in future.
 
PASSING FULCRUM (Cedric Segeon) sustained bruises on either chest-wall behind the girth.

ALPS (Keanen G Steyn) sustained small cut on right fore outer cannon.
