HAPPY VICTORY (Sarvan Kumar) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', thereby, marginally inconveniencing THE IMPOSTER (Anil Baandal) on its outside, at the start.

Jockey Mohammed Mushraf, the rider of PRAELECTOR, was fined Rs.2,000/-  for travelling wide from the 900 Metres till entering the straight, for no apparent reason.

Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the rider of HAPPY VICTORY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide, rounding the final bend, for no apparent reason.

It was reported after the Race that CITITALIA (J Paswan) burst its blood vessels; Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and Jockey Anil Baandal were questioned as to the running and riding of THE IMPOSTER, in the above Race. The Trainer stated as follows; a) In its last outing he horse ran in a maiden Race and won very well b) Subsequent to that it was performing very well during the morning Track Work and as such, he had fancied it to win the above Race; c) He had instructed the rider to sit up with the pace and ride out in the straight, but the horse was slightly slow at the start and thereafter did not pick up at all; d) He was absolutely shocked at the poor performance of his charge in this Race and was himself not able to explain the reasons thereafter. Jockey Anil Baandal, when questioned, corroborated with the statement of the Trainer and informed that he expected to take a good jump and sit well up with the frontrunners as the horse was very fresh and keen, on the way to the Starting Gates, but it was slightly slow at the start and one horse came across his mount and thereafter, it did not gallop at all and despite his best efforts, the horse did not show any progress and finished off the board. While noting their explanations, the horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was scoped after the Race. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported as follows;

This is to report that the bay gelding “THE IMPOSTER” 3 yr old, under the charge of Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde, was impounded for veterinary examination after the above mentioned Race. On examination, the gelding was found to be trotting sound and on Endoscopic Examination, no abnormality was observed.

In view of its performance, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed not to accept with it again until passed by the  Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day, on the Race Track.
