Racing Incidents

GRACE AND GLORY (Nitin Singh) jumped awkwardly 'outwards' at the start.
 
Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of JERSEY BRIDE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not being alert at the Start and for not making effort to attain an advantageous position, during the early part of the Race.
 
Jockey P Surya, the rider of RUN TO WIN, was reprimanded for repeatedly looking back between the 900 Metres and the 800 Metres for no apparent reason.
 
Jockey P Surya, the rider of RUN TO WIN, reported that his whip got entangled in the reins and as such, he could not make use of it, passing the 350 Metres.
 
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of CACTUS CASH, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. B K Narendra was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
 
It was reported after the Race that RUN TO WIN (P Surya) pulled up lame on left hind; Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
An enquiry is being held into the riding of Jockey R Anand on his mount BOLD NATURE, trained by Mr. Vikram Appachu, in the above Race.
