Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Padmanabhan to withdraw MAURITANIA (Y S  Srinath) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on left fore; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of MEGASTHENES, reported that he accidentally lost his whip, passing the 300 Metres.
 
It was observed that the saddle of CASTLEBRIDE (Suraj Narredu) shifted forward, passing the 1000 Metres and thereafter shifted over the withers, passing the 800 Metres; After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Bharath Singh was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence pertaining to saddling.
ASCENDENT (T S Jodha) was impounded for veterinary examination and was reported to have sustained multiple injuries on left hind pastern.
 
It was reported after the Race that ASCENDENT (T S Jodha) burst its blood vessels; Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
TURF STAR (S John) sustained bleeding cut injuries on right fore outer cannon.
 
Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from the following first three placed horses:
