Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V Dheeraj to withdraw DEL PORTO  (P Surya) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on right fore; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

FIRE RAINBOW (M Rajesh Kumar) hit its head inside the Gates while being loaded and upon examination, was observed to have sustained injury above right eye; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Order. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

BE BOLD (M Prabhakaran) jumped awkwardly 'inwards', at the start and came came in contact with AKHA TEEJ (A R Pradeep) on its inside, whereby, both the riders sustained injuries on their respective legs. BE BOLD (M Prabhakaran) was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of DECISIVE, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course throughout the Race. 

It was observed that Jockey C Umesh, the rider of OCEANIC STORM, lost his reins momentarily in the last 50 Metres, which, he regained within a few strides. 

Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of BE BOLD, reported after the Race that due to the leg injury sustained by him at the start, he could not give proper assistance and ride out ride out his mount in the straight.
