Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of ORENDA, was fined Rs.5,000/- for repeatedly shifting 'out' and causing interference to SAKURA (Y S Srinath) on his outside, between the 600 Metres and the 500 Metres, for no apparent reason. 

Jockey A Imran Khan, the rider of PLAY SAFE, reported that his mount was hanging in very badly thereby inconveniencing INTO THE GROOVE (P P Dhebe) along the rails between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and it was reported after the Race that examination of the mouth of the horse revealed sharp molars; Hence, Trainer Mr. G Aravind was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement]. 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of VENUS BAY, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. P Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

HOLLYWOOD DREAM (C Umesh) ran detached from the field; Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar [deputizing for Trainer Mr. K S Mandanna] was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. 

Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from the following First Three Placed Horses, viz., -
