Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw ELA HARIKA (R N Darshan) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath to substitute Jockey Ramandeep S Bal to ride SURPRISE PACKAGE in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to withdraw TOTAL FIRE (M Prabhakaran) on veterinary grounds as it fell while being saddled, thereby, sustaining injury on right hind outer hock; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FLAMING SPEAR (H M Akshay) sustained clipped injury on right fore inside bulb of heel.

Trainer Mr. Rakesh was questioned as to the relative performance of his charge, of ONE OF A KIND (S Antony Raj), the winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.31 of the Mysore Winter Races 2018-19, i.e., The Common Grounds Plate – Div. I (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 00 to 25, run on Fifth Day, Wednesday, 19th December, 2018, when ridden by Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse had a set back after its run during the Mysore Races 2018. It had suffered a fracture of the Jaw; b) After surgery and rest he had systematically prepared it by giving it 6 to 7 fast work and couple of Gate jump outs; c) Despite its condition, it ran a decent race in its previous run; d) Last time was the first run during this meeting after the Mysore Races 2018 i.e., after a gap of about 40 days; e) After that run and a few good gate jump outs, he had fancied its chances in this set; f) He had instructed the rider to take a good jump, give it couple of cracks, take a forward position; g) He did not show early speed and so was positioned 5th or so, gradually improved position and the horse just about won the Race; His explanation was noted.
