Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to withdraw KING STAR (M Madhu Babu) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be suffering from acute elbow inflammation on right fore limb; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ONLY HOPE (M J Gautam Raj Urs) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', at the start.

Jockey P P Dhebe, the rider of BERLIN, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' from the 800 Metres till about the Winning Post; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. M Eshwer was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, the rider of ONLY HOPE, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality reported; However, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that on examination of the mouth of the horse, ROYAL COMMAND (R Manish), it was reported to have sharp molars; Hence, Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement].

An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Anil Baandal on his mount, THE IMPOSTER, in the above Race.
