Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Praveen Jesu to withdraw his charge SINGHSAAB (K Sai Kiran) as it was observed to be lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. Praveen Jesu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of DOLPHIN, placed fourth by the Judge, raised an objection against Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of AGNAR, placed first by the Judge, for “In the last 200 Metres, the winner bumped me and took me out due to which it cost me a certain Race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.  

Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of AGNAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to DOLPHIN (M Prabhakaran), on his outside, passing the 200 Metres.
