As Jockey R Vaibhav was certified medically unfit to ride due to the injury he sustained while riding in the First Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Manohar R V to substitute Jockey Shiva Kumar, to ride his charge KASAULI, in place of the declared rider.

KASAULI (Shiva Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced DIVINE RETRIBUTION (R Manish) on its outside, at the start.

Jockey H Rahul, the rider of GREEN MEADOW was fined Rs.1,000/- for suddenly checking his mount and shifting out, thereby taking out PERFECT KING (K.Sai Kiran) and HAFNIUM (P P Dhebe) on his outside, passing the 1000 Metres.

It was reported after the Race that CASTLEBAR (H M Akshay) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi, was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was questioned as to the poor performance of his charge, HAFNIUM (P P Dhebe), in the above Race. The Trainer stated as follows; a) His charge always loves to come from behind and so he had instructed his rider to sit in 3rd of 4th position; b) His rider came and informed him that his charge was not showing any initial speed; c) His rider also informed him that the pace of the Race was very fast and that he had to niggle it throughout the Race to keep up with the pace and when he asked for an effort from his mount, it was not galloping fluently at all; Jockey P P Dhebe, when questioned, corroborated with the statements of Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas. The horse was impounded for veterinary examinations, but no abnormality was reported. While noting the explanations of both the Trainer and the Jockey, Trainer, Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

It was reported after the Race that GIRL WITH PEARL (Arshad Alam), sustained a two inch long cut over right hind.
