Racing Incidents

CELESTIAL LIGHT (Vipin Kumar) jumped out awkwardly and shifted out, thereby inconveniencing ILLUMINATE (C Umesh), on its outside, at the start.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of DONT TRUST ANYONE, placed second by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey C Umesh, the rider of ILLUMINATE, for “well into the straight, the winner, which was travelling kept coming in, took my ground whereby I had to stop riding which cost me a certain Race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
