Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi reported that his charge NEXT LEVEL (P Kiran Rai) was extremely playful at the Saddling Enclosure and hence the Tongue Strap could not be fastened, despite his repeated efforts to put it on. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to run without the Tongue Strap.   

INTENSE COMMAND (K Sai Kiran), dropped its rider, on its way to the Starting Gates and bolted. Under the Circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order.

KINGLY COURT (C Umesh) jumped awkwardly outwards, at the Start.

STIGMATA (Shiva Kumar) veered out towards the Outer Sand Track, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of NEXT LEVEL, reported that his mount was running green, throughout the Race.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards ordered and held an enquiry into the running of the above Race, with particular reference to KINGLY COURT (C Umesh), placed second by the Judge, drifting out alarmingly and eventually finishing the above Race, on the Outer Sand Track. The Stewards examined Jockey C Umesh and Trainer M Eshwer. After repeatedly viewing the CCTV Replay, particularly the last 400 Metres of the Race and after noting the explanations tendered by them, the Stewards decided not to alter the Judges Placings, of the above Race.

KINGLY COURT (C Umesh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. 

It was reported after the Race that COMBATTANT (V R Jagdeesh) had apparently lost its left hind shoe, during the Race.

Routine sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b f CALIFORNIA GOLD.
