Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md Sajid Qureshi to withdraw his charge, VIRGINIA QUEEN (S Imran) on veterinary grounds, from the above Race, as it was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to hoof abscess. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again. 

Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancies in shoeing, in respect of his charge, STAR HOLIDAY (Ajeet Kumar), in the above Race [First Infringement]. 

It was observed that BIRTHDAY BABE (Chotu Jaiswar) was inclined to run out, rounding the final bend and in the Straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was observed that BREAKING NEWS (K Raghu) was drifting out under pressure, after entering the Straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but as the mare was extremely fractious, the mouth examination was abandoned.

It was reported after the Race that BANZAI (R N Darshan) was lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again. 

Trainer Mr. C Girinath was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards as to the vastly improved performance of BREAKING NEWS (K Raghu), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 17 of the Mysore Winter Races 2019-20, i.e., The Sakaleshpur Plate – Div.II, (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, No Whip, run on Wednesday, 27th November, 2019, when ridden by Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse had come under his charge very recently and that this was its first run under him; b) He had rested the horse well, it was fed well and was also working well, showing improvement during this period; c) He was running in this Race after a gap of forty two days; d) He had thought that his charge may just run on board as he had not fancied its chances, but his charge came out and won. While noting his explanations, he was informed to be more judicious in the running of his charges in future.
