ENGELBERG (A R Pradeep) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the Start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in  in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.
 
VIRGINIA QUEEN (S Imran), knuckled and shifted inwards, at the Start.

Jockey Anil Baandal, the rider of THE IMPOSTER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to COUNTRY'S DELIGHT (C Umesh), on his outside, soon after the Start.

It was observed that RAPTOR (H M Akshay) slowed down approaching 200 metres and as such, STRONG RESEMBLANCE (M Madhu Babu) had to be checked by its rider to avoid colliding with it thereby losing ground. RAPTOR (H M Akshay) was impounded for veterinary examination and it was reported to have burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. C D Monappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S Imran was questioned in the presence of Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi, as to his riding on his mount VIRGINIA QUEEN. After due enquiry, not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey S Imran, the Stipendiary Stewards fined him Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient efforts to ride out his mount throughout the Race. He was cautioned in the presence of Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to make every effort to improve his riding and that a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
   
Trainer, P C Tejaswi was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards as to the improved performance of his charge ASTARA (Shiva Kumar), the winner of the above Race as compared to its previous run where it ran unplaced. The Trainer replied as follows; a) His charge was running after a long layoff of almost 8 months; b) His charge was always tired after workout and was not putting on condition despite eating well; c) Hence he had changed its pattern of work, had started to work it only in the equine swimming pool; d) Thereafter, it started putting on condition which was evident by the increase in its body weight; e) He had not fancied its chances in this race, but it came out and won the Race and in his opinion, the long rest had done good to the horse. His explanation was noted for future reference.
