Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey Dashrath Singh, to ride his charge D GOLD, in place of Jockey Akshay Kumar (H), the declared rider.

HIS EMINENCE (Dhanu Singh Deora) slightly shifted in passing 1100 metres and squeezed STAR OF THEA (Shiva Kumar) on his inside and GDANSK (M J GautamRajUrs) slightly shifted out passing 1100 metres and in the process squeezed STAR OF THEA (Shiva Kumar), which was travelling in between the two runners, thereby the rider of the latter lost his right stirrup, which he regained in few strides.
 
Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora, the rider of HIS EMINENCE was fined Rs.3,000/-  for shifting `out' with the use of the whip and causing severe interference to D GOLD (Dasharath Singh), on his outside, in the last 200 metres.

Jockey Dasharath Singh reported that his mount was hanging `in' after entering the Straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, it was reported that the examination of the mouth was abandoned due to the extremely fractious behaviour of the horse.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g VACHAN.
