As Jockey Chotu Jaiswar, the declared rider of SURPRISE PACKAGE, was certified medically unfit to ride, after his ride in the first race, permission was granted to  Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M to substitute Jockey Sameer Qureshi to ride SURPRISE PACKAGE, in place of the declared rider.

SURPRISE PACKAGE (Sameer Qureshi) reared up as the gates opened and lost few lengths at the start and thereafter, ran detached from the field, till rounding the final bend. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M was informed that he must not accept with it again until  its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

D KARNA (Vishal N Bunde) jumped out awkwardly at the start. 

Jockey B Harish, the rider of SWISS TIGRESS was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting  ìn  and causing interference to D KARNA (Vishal N Bunde) on his inside, along the rails, as a result the latter had to shift out thereby inconveniencing horses on his outside viz., SHIMMERS (M J GautamRajUrs), STANDOUT (M Prabhakaran) and DAGOBERT (Arshad Alam), passing the 1000 metres.

It was reported after the race that D KARNA (Vishal N Bunde) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Monnappa C D  was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SHIMMERS (M J GautamRajUrs) suffered from heat stress after the race. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of UNIMAGINABLE trained by Mr. P C Tejaswi and ridden by Jockey Mohammed Mushraf in the above race.
