Racing Incidents

Trainer R.Karthik was fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for his failure to produce the registered colours in respect of his charge Dead Slow (Jockey A.Azay Khan ) . The jockey being weighed out in emergency colours all black .

Belle Brise (C.Umesh) and Smart Raider ( M.Kalyan Singh) were extremely fractious at the start and could not be stalled inspite of all efforts withdrawn before coming under starter’s order. Consequent to the withdrawals the bookmakers liability was reduced by 12 paise in the per rupee on all win bets and 25 paise per rupee on all place bets.

Trainer Saddam Iqbal, was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge Serena the winner of this race who had finished off board last race. The Trainer’s explanation that his charge had been hampered in her previous start and planted subsequently her SSC being revoked was accepted.

Jockey R.Hari Krishnan, the further rider of Just a Whisper placed 5th was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for failing to weigh in and was severely cautioned that similar lapses do not occur in future.
