Racing Incidents

GLORIOUS LILLY (N.S.Parmar) and PRINCESS SANAA (R.Vaibhav) were slow to start losing about one to two lengths each.

Trainer C.D.Monappa and Jockey P.M.Bopanna were questioned with respect to the running and riding of ACENDENT.Trainer stated that the horse in his last run won a 1400 metres race and the distance was a bit short, the same being confirmed by the jockey noted. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse was trotting short on his left fore due to a sprained shoulder. Under the circumstances trainer C.D.Monappa was advised to have his charge certified fit by the club’s Veterinary officer before next acceptance.
