Permission was granted to Trainer Fazal-Ul-Rehman to saddle DONAILLA (G.Naresh) on behalf of Trainer Akbar Malick at both Trainer’s risk and liability.

Jockey A.Imran Khan being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey C.Umesh on JERICHO.

DONAILLA (G.Naresh) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the starter’s orders, found to be lame on left fore. Trainer Fazal-Ul-Rehman deputising for trainer Akbar Malick was asked to get the gelding certified fit before accepting with it again.
SO FAR SO GOOD (Md.Farhan Alam) was slow to start losing about 2 to 3 lengths.

GREAT COMMOTION (A.Ayaz Khan) was hesitant to raise a proper gallop and trailed the field despite jockey’s efforts. Trainer Vishesh M.P. was asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before accepting with it again.

Jockey P.Ajeeth Kumar the rider of COUNTRY’S GLORY reported that his mount was shy and running green for major part of the race despite his efforts. The Club’s Veterinary Officer was asked to examine the filly who reported that no abnormalities were found.

Jockey C.Umesh the rider of JERICHO was fined a sum of Rs.3000/- for shifting out at about the 500 metres in trying to make his move forcing out WILD PASSION (Prashant P.Dhebe) who in turn shifted out forcing out GLORIOUS FLAME (C.A.Brisson).
