Racing Incidents

JESSICA (Azfar Syeed) was permitted to be withdrawn due to non availability of a replacement jockey for Apprentice Azfar Syeed who was indisposed after his fall in the 5th Race of the day.

Permission was granted to Trainer P.Krishna to saddle LADY AMEERA (Shahar Babu) on behalf of Trainer Fazal-Ul-Rehman at both Trainer’s risk and liability.

Jockey K.V.Baskar the rider of NICOLE was fined a sum of Rs.1000 for persisting with use of whip on the right when his mount was inclined to hang out entering the straight shifting out onto the Outer sand track at about the 150 metres.

WELCOME SPECIAL (P.K.Gaddam) was incline to hang in for major part of the race and stumbled twice passing the 150 metres and was changing legs in the straight. The Club’s Veterinary Officer was asked to examine the filly who reported that the filly had broken a blood vessel during the race. Trainer P.Krishna was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with his charge again.
