Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.James Mckeown to declare Jockey Yash Narredu on DESPACITO in place of Jockey P.Saikumar who was indisposed after his fall in the first race and hence could not fulfil his riding engagement.

TEXAS ROSE (Nikhil Naidu) was slow to start by 2 lengths.

STAR  RANKING  (N  Murugan)  drawn  3  jumped  awkwardly  outward  and  MAGICAL  WISH  (Surya Prakash)  drawn  6  jumped  awkwardly  inward  tightening  and  causing  interference  to the  field  in between, i.e. DESPACITO (Yash Narredu) drawn 4 and WAKANDA (Shahzad Alam) drawn 5, both the latter losing about 2 to 3 lengths. Jockey N Murugan, the rider of STAR RANKING was fined a sum of Rs 1000/- for not making sufficient effort to control his mount from shifting out soon after the start.  

DESPACITO (Yash Narredu) was denied a clear run in the last 100 meters due to the front runners. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that STAR RANKING (N Murugan) sustained superficial injury on left hind cannon during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner TUDOR (Akshay Kumar).
