CLEAR VISION (Suraj Narredu) was difficult to load.

HOUTZEN (App P Tejeshwar) hung ‘out’ from about the 500 metres finishing the course on the outer rails. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised to take remedial measures.

MARAZZO (App P Vikram) drifted ‘outwards’ when placed under pressure during the final stages of the race.

CAPRICONIA (Hindu Singh) was difficult to load. SHIVALIK SILK (App Rupal Singh) was fractious in its stall.

SPIRITUAL (App P Tejeshwar) had to be steadied at the 600 metres when CAPRICONIA (Hindu Singh) shifted course to the outside.

SIRONA (Y S Srinath) took a misstep passing the 800 metres.

CAPRICONIA (Hindu Singh) was denied a clear run passing the 300 metres of the race.

The Veterinary Officer reported that MYSTIC WONDER, returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

COUP DE GRACE (Arshad Alam) was fractious in its stall. COURT JESTER (Suraj Narredu) missed the jump.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of the winner COURT JESTER, was reprimanded for easing up his mount well before passing the winning post.

Jockey K Sai Kiran when afforded an opportunity to explain the riding of his mount AGGRESSION stated that he was instructed to place his mount in 3/4th position after jumping out and to do his best thereafter. However, soon after jump out he was inconvenienced between EASTSIDE (Md Azharuddin) and SHEER FORCE (Nikhil Naidu), thereafter he gave her a chance to come up with a run in the race as she prefers the same and did his best in the final straight. On questioning Tr. Shafiq Khan corroborated his instructions to the Jockey and stated that as the mare lacks initial speed in races, he asked the Jockey to settle his charge with the field during the early stages of the race and to do his best in the final straight. The Stipendiary Steward decided to continue with the enquiry.

DIL MANGEY MORE (Vinay Jaiswal) was very fractious in its stall and repeatedly lashed out at the rear gates after being stalled, in the process sustaining a cut injury on its right hind. Under the circumstances the mare was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders and her Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.
 
AFTER SHOCK (Md Islam) was fractious in its stall.

CORMORANT (Nikhil Naidu) jumped out awkwardly from the gates.

Tr. Vijay Singh and Jockey Hindu Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the running and riding of b f DARING HEART, Jockey Hindu Singh stated that the filly pulls in track work, has to be settled and brought with a run as shown in her previous starts. He tucked her ‘in’ on the rails after jump out and gave her every chance in the race. However, he could not make his move earlier as he was stuck behind AFTER SHOCK (Md Islam) and SIMPLY SOARING (App P Tejeshwar) passing the 500 metres, switched out at the top of the straight and rode out his mount thereafter. On questioning Tr. Vijay Singh stated that :-

1).    My instructions to my jockey Hindu Singh was to take a good jump and sit mid bunch with the field as in almost all her races she’s come from way off the pace and has not shown enough initial speed to be up with the pace and to do his best in the race. I could not give him specific instructions of sitting 3rd or 4th initially as she is more used to getting into her stride and then using her turn of foot in the end.

2).    She has run 8 times in her life and has won only once with Jockey Suraj Narredu in her last start in the lower class. I could not declare him in this race as he could not do the weight.

3).    In almost all her races she has run the same way as she ran on 6th February wherein she was placed almost at the back end of the field and came with a run.

4).    In this race too Hindu Singh rode her in a similar fashion and had to wait a little though he did travel the shortest way home till the final bend but was stuck behind horses that did not improve in front of him and had to wait till the top of the straight till he got a clear run to ride her out.

5).    I have no doubt in my mind that the Jockey rode a poor / misjudged race on her. The Stipendiary Steward decided to continue with the enquiry.

The Veterinary Officer reported that CORMORANT returned lame on right fore. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

LORD OF THE SEA (K Sai Kiran) planted losing over a distance at the start. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of INCA, reported that his mount was inclined to lean ‘outwards’ during the final stages of the race.

RUSTLER (App Rupal Singh) jumped out sluggishly losing approximately five to six lengths at the start. Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.
