b g ROMA VICTOR, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the evening of Thursday, 30th September, 2021 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. C Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

For parading his charge b m SHIVALIK SIGHT without “Tongue Strap”, the declared equipment, Tr. Jasbir Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/-. Subsequently the equipment was put on the mare.

As Jockey Akshay Kumar was unable to “weigh-out” at par his declared weight, Tr. Bharath Singh was permitted to substitute Jockey Neeraj Rawal to ride his charge MOTHER’S LOVE.

SEASKY (Sameer Khan) was extremely difficult to load.

AHNIKA (R S Bhati) was very fractious while being stalled and flipped over. The filly was examined by the Veterinary Officer, declared fit to race and was re-loaded.

Tr. Neil Darashah and Jockey Arshad Alam when afforded an opportunity to explain the running and riding of dk b g SHIVALIC GOLD, Mr. Darashah stated that as the gelding was travelling over a mile for the first time and since he considers it to be an ordinary horse, he had instructed the jockey to place his mount wherever possible and to ride his own race. The Trainer continued by stating that in his opinion the Jockey rode his best and he felt his charge would not have beaten the winner. Jockey Arshad Alam stated that he was instructed to take a good jump, place his mount in a good position with the mid bunch, ride comfortably and to do his best in the straight. However, the gelding was hanging ‘in’ from about the 600 metres and could not do any better. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and report ailment, if any. On veterinary examination after the races the gelding was found to be lame on left fore, as such no further action was taken beyond noting the explanations tendered for future reference. Tr. Neil Darashah was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

The Veterinary Officer reported that AHNIKA returned with a cut injury on right fore.

EXCLUSIVE BLUE (Sameer Khan) which was fractious in its stall, was slow to begin.

SAINT PETERSBURG (App H M Akshay) was slow to begin and drifted ‘outwards’ under pressure during the concluding stages of the race. App H M Akshay was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.
 
SHIMMERING STAR (App P Tejeshwar) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

For declaring wrong shoeing in respect of his charge ch f LEGEND RETURNS, Tr. V Lokanath was fined a sum of Rs. 500/-. Subsequently the filly was permitted to run with “all four aluminium plates – high heel both fore (A-HF)”.

EUPHRATES (Shailesh Shinde) was difficult to load.

dk b f SCRUPLES (P Trevor) was extremely fractious to load thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. S S Attaollahi was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

EASTWOOD (P S Chouhan) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. C Alford was advised for a final time to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future failing which appropriate action will be initiated.

AGNOSTIC (Hindu Singh) was fractious to be stalled.

EASTWOOD (P S Chouhan) was extremely fractious to load. Tr. C Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

GALEN (Neeraj Rawal) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

The Veterinary Officer reported that THE PROTECTOR returned without its left fore shoe.

ASTRAL FORCE (Vinay Jaiswal) and DORNISH (App Hasib Alam) were slow to begin.

Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of ASTRAL FORCE, was reprimanded for unnecessarily travelling wide for the greater part of the race.

Jockey Md Islam, the rider of TOPNOTCH, was reprimanded for the indifferent handling of his mount.

Jockey R S Bhati, the rider of WHISPERING GRASS, was reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out under use of the whip during the concluding stages of the race.
