Jockey R Vaibhav (PRIMO VICTORIA) was reprimanded for shifting in while negotiating the final bend inconveniencing BANKSY (Md Sameer).

Jockey P Surya (SUN FLARE) was reprimanded for unnecessarily disputing for the lead with GEORGE EVEREST (R S Bhati) in the initial and middle stages of the race resulting in the filly having nothing to offer well before the final bend and finishing way down the field. Tr. B Mahesh was advised to maintain consistency in the running style of his charges in future failing which he would be liable for disciplinary action.

WHITE ROSES which was difficult to load, was slow to begin.

DANDI SATYAGRAHA and IVANHOE were slow to begin.

IVANHOE (P Tejeshwar) which was in the lead while negotiating the final bend, veered off a straight course and in the process caused severe interference to DRAGON’S GOLD (Hindu Singh) which had to be abruptly checked and lose position. Jockey P Tejeshwar was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

On the morning of 17th September, 2024 ch f SPARKLE N SHINE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suffering from painful swelling on left fore tendon. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. b m KAITLAN was paraded in the paddock with a wrong saddle. Thereafter the mare was taken back and resaddled. Tr. Javed Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for negligence in discharge of his duties. In the process his charge KAITLAN arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race.

KAITLAN jumped out awkwardly from the gates.

ANGEL LIGHT was slow to begin. Jockey P Uday Kiran (ANGEL LIGHT) reported loss of whip passing the 200 metres.

Jockey Mohit Singh (TENDER HEART) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of whip (1st infringement).

The Veterinary Officer reported that post race endoscopy of ZARAFAT revealed that the gelding suffered from EIPH Gr. II.

Trs. B Mahesh and B Rajender Reddy were fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- each for late arrival of their charges ROYAL RIDER and FLAMINGO ROAD respectively thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The Trainers were further advised to ensure that their charges arrive on time in future.

XTRAVAGANT STAR was fractious to be stalled and reared up at the start as the start was effected. An enquiry was opened immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockeys Vinay Jaiswal (YUVI, dr 1) and Jockey Mohit Singh (XTRAVAGANT STAR, dr 2) from their respective mounts soon after the start. On watching the CCTV replay it was observed that the fall of Jockey Vinay Jaiswal from YUVI was due to the gelding jumping awkwardly from the gates brushing the same unbalancing the rider whereby he got unseated and XTRAVAGANT STAR (Mohit Singh) shied away suddenly after the fall of Vinay Jaiswal (YUVI) causing Mohit Singh to be dislodged as well. As the incident was accidental the “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted.

LAURUS and RAFFAELLO were difficult to load.

BURMESE was slow to begin losing approximately losing 4 - 5 lengths at the start. Tr. Rajesh Nareddu was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

AMALFITANA which was slow to begin, finished the race detached from the field. Tr. B Rajender Reddy was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

Jockey Shezad Khan reported that his mount LAURUS was inclined to run out passing the 1200 metres and hanging out for the major part of the race. The gelding was observed to have returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. P S Jubbal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

The Veterinary Officer reported that VINALIA returned with right eye injury.

BIBURY which was difficult to load, was slow to begin.

BIBURY hung in from about the 250 metres, more so under the use of the whip. Jockey Arul J H was reprimanded for the same.

Jockey Nikhil Naidu (JEAN LAFETTE) reported loss of whip passing the 400 metres.

Post race veterinary examination on the evening of the race day revealed that BIBURY was lame on left fore. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

The Veterinary Officer reported that WAR TRIAL returned with left hind injury.
