For failing to produce the registered colours in respect of his charge TESHA, Tr Neil Darashah was fined a sum of Rs 1000/-. Subsequently the use of ‘ALL BLACK’ was permitted and the Trainer was charged a sum of Rs 500/-.

Jockey Vinod Shinde was warned for reporting late for the parade of horses more so in the instance where his mount DIAMOND GOLD had to be led out early.

JET and SOUL AQUARIAN were slow to begin.

TESHA and A WINK ANNDA SMILE were hanging in, in the final straight. Trs. Neil Darashah and Rutherford Alford were advised to take remedial measures.

HORUS THE GREAT jumped out awkwardly from the gates. Jockey Md Imran reported that he lost his whip at the start and was cautioned to be more careful in future.

Tr Sabeel Shariff (LAHINA) when asked for the improved performance of his charge as compared to its previous run in Race No 75 The So Amazing Cup Div I, stated that “I was pleasantly surprised of my charge’s performance, she ran after a 22 day gap, she had a mock race on 17th Jan 2026 and was working well in the morning track. The change of jockey might have helped her to perform better compared to her previous performance”, was noted. The Trainer was however, advised to ensure that his charges run with a degree of consistency in future.

Jockey A Ashhad Asbar (HAPPY MORNING) reported that his mount stumbled soon after jump out.

Jockey M Mark reported that his mount MOHSIN was not galloping fluently for the major portion of the race. The Veterinary Doctor was requested to examine the gelding and submit his report. The veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

Jockey P Trevor (RAMBHA) reported that his mount returned coughing from the race. The Veterinary Doctor was requested to examine the filly and submit his report. Post Race endoscopy revealed that the filly suffered from EIPH Gr III and Tr Aashay Doctor was advised not to accept with his charge till passed fit by the Veterinary Doctor.

Tr Shafiq Khan was warned for failing to follow the laid down procedures regarding horses that are led to the gates by sending his charge MONEYCATCHER rider less to the start without seeking permission for the same.

ZAMBEZI and FORTUNE WARRIOR were slow to begin.

Tr Rajender Reddy and Jockey Hasib Alam when questioned regarding the running and riding of FORTUNE WARRIOR, the Trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to place his mount in 4th/ 5th position and to do his best in the final run. He added that he was disappointed with the efforts of the jockey. The rider confirmed the instructions and stated that he was ‘at the horse’ since the jump
 
out and rode to the best of his ability. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey Hasib Alam, he was fined a sum of Rs 25000/- for the indifferent handling of his mount which was seen finishing on purposefully in the final stages of the race.

GALWAY GIRL and BOOSTER SHOT were slow to begin.

MINDFUL was observed to hang out when placed under pressure, inspite of the jockey’s best efforts.

Tr Deepesh Narredu was advised to take remedial measures.

WHIRLWIND was slow off by about 4-5 lengths. Tr Vijay Singh was advised to get his charge passed at a Barrier Trial by the Starters.

ZARAK had to be steadied by Jockey I Chisty passing the 400 metres and switched out to avoid running into KARANVEER which was dropping back. In the process ZARAK clipped WHIRLWIND making its move on the outside.

Tr Vijay Singh and Jockey M S Deora when questioned regarding the performance of WHIRLWIND as compared to its previous run, the Trainer stated :

“ 1. I had instructed the jockey M S Deora to ride him off the pace as he is a very hard puller and if kept a little uppish with the pace he has the tendency of bolting.

2. I asked the jockey to save the horse in the early part of the race like he had done in his earlier start and improve once he passes the 1000 metres.

3. The jockey said that once he realised that ZARAK sitting 3rd in the race was not improving his horse he decided to overtake him at around the 1000 metres. But when he went to improve his position the jockey on ZARAK too started pushing his horse and did not give my horse a chance to gradually improve at around the 900 metres to 600 metres and my horse was made to use himself at that stage of the race.

4. The eventual winner had also had a breather in front and had taken a break on my horse by then and when asked for an effort my horse did not have much to offer in the straight.

5. Ruling Star the winner has been consistent in Class 2 while my horse Whirlwind is climbing the scales and the field he beat when he won in Class 4 was very mediocre.”

Jockey M S Deora confirmed the above and added that if he did not have to use up his mount between the 900 and the 600 metres of the race, his mount would have possibly finished closer to the winner.

The explanations were noted.

TRAKILA missed the jump.

ITALIAN GOLD which had played up in its last start on way to start, did so again and reached the gates late, thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr Shafiq Khan was fined a sum of Rs 2000/-in this regard and advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
 
POSITIVITY and SEINA planted losing considerable ground at the start. The Start Stall Certificates of both these runners were revoked by the Starter.

AMALFITANA was slow to begin.

Jockey A A Vikrant (POSITIVITY) reported that his mount failed to quicken when asked for an effort in the final straight. He further stated that he eased up his mount in the final 150 metres of the race. Post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Tr Ritesh was advised not to accept with his charge till capable of a better performance.
