At the start, PRINCE IGOR (N. B. Kuldeep, dr.7) jumped inwards and brushed the haunches of THE FLUTIST (D. R. Shubham, dr.6), thereafter THE FLUTIST shifted out onto PRINCE IGOR who had to be steadied. Jockey D. R. Shubham has been cautioned.

Approaching the 600 metres, NORD (App. A. S. Peter) leaned inwards thereby tightening ZUKOR (K. Nail) along the rails causing the latter to be steadied. App. A. S. Peter has been cautioned.

Passing the 300 metres, ALPINE STAR (App. Mustakim Alam) leaned inwards thereby tightening ZUKOR (K. Nazil) causing the latter to be checked and drop back. After the race on questioning App. Mustakim Alam stated that his mount had shifted in, despite his efforts. App. Mustakim Alam has been cautioned.

After the race, THE FLUTIST was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

The Equine hospital reported that RED DUST had injuries (sore) in both eyes.

JUICED (Prashant P. Dhebe, dr.1) planted in the stall and thereafter whipped around after the start thereby taking no practical part in the race. Trainer A. M. Jadhav has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.

Approaching the 200 metres, CHAT (K. Nazil) leaned inwards onto MURWARA PRINCESS (S. Saqlain). Jockey K. Nazil has been cautioned.

After the race, CHAT was trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, FLYING VISIT (Antony Raj S., dr.3) jumped inwards and went across GAZINO (S. Zervan, dr.2) and GIANT STAR (Neeraj Rawal, dr.1) who had to be steadied. After the race, Jockey Antony Raj S. reported that his mount jumped out awkwardly inwards and thereafter hung-in in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, FLYING VISIT was trotted and found to be sound.

TASMAN (App. P. Vinod, dr.1) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.

NUSRAT (Amyn Merchant, dr.5) was restless and was not allowing its rider to settle in the in the Starting Stall. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Soon after the start, SHADOWS (App. A. S. Peter) shifted in before the red marker. App. A S Peter has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

Soon after the start, NUSRAT (Amyn Merchant) leaned outwards onto AME (N. S. Parmar) who in turn shifted out and brushed the haunches of SAFDAR (App. Haridas Gore).

Passing the 1200 meters, MYRCELLA (N. B. Kuldeep) shifted in thereby tightening NUSRAT (Amyn Merchant) causing the latter to be checked. Jockey N. B. Kuldeep has been cautioned.

After the race, TASMAN was trotted and found to be sound.

REMUS (Antony Raj S., dr.7) whipped around and dislodged its rider after the start. Trainer Imitaz A. Sait has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.

At the start, MAJESTIC WARRIOR (J. Chinoy, dr.5) jumped inwards thereby bumping and tightening LEX LUTHOR (K. Nazil, dr.4).

Soon after the start, LEX LUTHOR (K. Nazil) shifted out under urgings thereby bumping and forcing PURE (N. S. Parmar) outwards onto LORD VADER (P. Vinod). After questioning Jockey K. Nazil and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by him as such his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. on 1st race day of the Mumbai Meeting 2022/23, date of which will be intimated in due course (permitted to ride work/mock race).

In the final stages of the race, CIPHER (S. Saqlain) leaned inwards under urgings thereby tightening and inconveniencing PURE (N. S. Parmar) who had to be steadied. As such, Jockey S. Saqlain has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (POLYNEICES) reported the loss of whip passing the 100 metres. This being his first instance during the current Pune meeting 2022, no action has been initiated.

Trainer Faisal A. Abbas (DALI SWIRL) has been fined Rs.500/- for bringing his charge late in the paddock.

Trainer Hosidar Daji (LEX LUTHOR) has been fined Rs.500/- for bringing his charge late in the paddock.

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of LEX LUTHOR and a report will be submitted shortly.

After the race, RAMBLER, INTENSE APPROACH & LEX LUTHOR were trotted and found to be sound. Further, RAMBLER was observed to have a gum injury.

The Equine hospital reported that DALI SWIRL had injury (sore) in left eye and PURE had injury in left eye.

After the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu (A STAR IS BORN) reported that his mount lugged-out in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Rajesh Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, JULIETTTE was trotted and found to be sound.

TEISPES (App. Haridas Gore, dr.9) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.

Soon after the start, SILVER SPRINGS (Antony Raj S.) shifted in thereby tightening EXCELLENT STAR (N. S. Parmar) who in turn shifted in, bumping and tightening ZBOROWSKI (App. N. Bhosale) causing the latter to check and drop back due to which JERUSALEM (A. Sandesh) racing on its hunches had to be checked. After questioning, Jockey Antony Raj S. and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. on 1st race day of the Mumbai Meeting 2022/23, date of which will be intimated in due course (permitted to ride work/mock race).

Passing the 300 metres, ALPHA GENE (Dashrath Singh) shifted out under urgings thereby tightening and inconveniencing EXCELLENT STAR (N. S. Parmar) who had to be checked. As such, Jockey Dashrath Singh has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (DJANGO) reported that the saddle on his mount had shifted in front during the race, as such he was unable to ride out his mount to full advantage. As such, Tr. Behram Cama has been fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling, this being the first instance during the current Pune Meeting 2022.

At the start, EXCELLENT GOLD (J. Chinoy, dr.3) jumped outwards at the same time PISA (Antony Raj S., dr.4) leaned inwards and they made contact due to which EXCELLENT GOLD had to be steadied. 

Passing the 1000 metres, DILBAR (App. P. Vinod) shifted in and went across ALMAS (App. P. Shinde) who had to be steadied. App. P. Vinod has been cautioned.

Approaching the 800 metres, SKY HAWK (S. Saqlain) leaned inwards onto PISA (Antony Raj S.) who inturn shifted in thereby tightening COGNOSCO (App. Kirtish Bhagat) along the rails. As such, Jockey S. Saqlain has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
