Soon after the start, SORRENTO SECRET (App. N. Bhosale) shifted in at the same time LIGHTNING BLAZE (A. Prakash) shifted out due to which UNTITLED (Antony Raj S.) drawn between them had to be checked. After the race on questioning all concerned and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by App. N. Bhosale, he has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

Soon after the start, HILMA KLINT (App. Mustakim Alam) shifted in onto HIGH SPIRIT (B. Nikhil) who in turn shifted in onto SORRENTO SECRET (App. N. Bhosale)  causing the latter to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, App. Mustakim Alam has been fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in before the red marker.

It was observed that Jockey K. Nazil (ADONIS) had used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 3rd offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, his Jockeys licence has been suspended for two race days i.e. on first two race days of Pune Meeting 2025 date of which will be intimated in due course (permitted to ride work/mock race).

It was observed that Jockey Antony Raj S. (UNTITLED) had used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 1st offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

After the race, Jockey Antony Raj S. (UNTITLED) reported that his mount was not galloping fluently. Hence, the gelding was subjected to veterinary examination.

Subsequently, the Sr. V.O. reported that UNTITLED was scoped at the sampling yard and observed to have EIPH (Gr.III), as such, the gelding is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, HIGH SPIRIT was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by left fore. The mare has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, LIGHTNING BLAZE and UNTITLED were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, THALASSA (A. Sandesh, dr.4) took a fly jump.

It was observed that Jockey Antony Raj S. (SPLENDIDO) had used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 2nd offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.5,000/-.

After the race, FLAMING LAMBORGINI was trotted and found to be sound.

Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait informed the Club’s Sr. V.O. that his charge AZURE has been coughing persistently on 29th & 30th March 2025. The filly was subjected to veterinary examination and since no abnormality was found the matter was placed before the Stewards of the Club and the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.

MERKAVAH (T. S. Jodha, dr.2) jumped out slowly thereby losing about a length at the start.

At the start, SENECA (A. Sandesh, dr.6) jumped outwards and made contact with MINISTRY OF TIME (P. Trevor, dr.7).

After the race, Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe (REGAL GALLERIA) reported that his mount was running green in the straight.

After the race, App. Haridas Gore (DON JULIO) reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the final stages of the race. Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, ZEPHYR was observed to have an injury on left hock and left hind pasterns.

STORM (T. S. Jodha, dr. 1) whipped around after the start and thereafter did not take practical part in the race. In the view of the behavior of the filly, Trainer Behram Cama has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.

GOODFELLOW (Amyn Merchant, dr.3) jumped out tardily losing considerable ground at the start and thereafter did not raise an effective gallop thereby trailing the field, considering the similar behavior of the gelding in the previous outing. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding in two mock races to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.

At the start, EAGLE DAY (A. Prakash, dr.4) jumped outwards and made contact with SANDS OF DUBAI (A. Sandesh, dr.5).

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (MYSTERIOUSSTRANGER) reported that his mount hung-in throughout the race. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, MYSTERIOUSSTRANGER was trotted and found to be sound.

BISHOP was not declared to start after accepting with the filly due to late realization of medication that had been logged. Trainer P. Shroff has been fined Rs.5,000/- for his lapse and the filly was subjected to sampling.

ENCHANTING (Neeraj Rawal, dr.1) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

LUNA (N. S. Parmar, dr.4) and MARCELLE (Akshay Gaikwad, dr.5) jumped out slowly thereby losing about a length at the start.

Soon After the start, BEAT THE HEAT (App. Mustakim Alam) shifted in and went across LUNA (N. S. Parmar) and MARCELLE (Akshay Gaikwad) who were marginally slow to begin.

After the race, Jockey P. Vinod (WHISPER) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight, despite his efforts.

Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha had declared Apprentice Ramswarup on his charge OCEAN. Since Ramswarup was not eligible to ride as per the norms laid down for Apprentice Jockeys. As such, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha was permitted to change the rider to Apprentice Aditya Waydande on his charge. He has been fined Rs.1,000/- for the  lapse.

On arrival at the starting gate, DIVINE INTUITION was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified him fit to race.

LORD MURPHY (P. Vinod, dr.10) took a fly jump and lost about two lengths at the start.

DANCING STAR (S. Mosin, dr.11) jumped out slowly and lost about two lengths at the start.

At the start, GOBBY (S. G. Prasad, dr.7) jumped outwards at the same time CINDERELLA’S DREAM (A. Sandesh, dr.9) shifted in under urgings thereby tightening FLASHMAN (T. S. Jodha, dr.8) drawn between them. After questioning all concerned, Jockeys S. G. Prasad and A. Sandesh have been cautioned.

At the start, OCEAN (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.4) jumped outwards onto WIND DANCER (P. Trevor, dr.5) thereafter PRINCE IGOR (B. Nikhil, dr.6) was marginally slow to begin, leaned in and brushed the haunches of WIND DANCER.

At the start, MAJORELLA BLUE (S. J. Sunil, dr.2) jumped outwards onto MARATHA ADMIRAL (N. S. Parmar, dr.3) who was marginally slow to begin.

Soon after the start, Jockey D. R. Shubham (DIVINE INTUITION) shifted in before the red marker. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey D. R. Shubham has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

In the straight, Jockey B. Nikhil (PRINCE IGOR) persisted with the whip in the right despite his mount hanging out thereby inconveniencing DANCING STAR (S. Mosin). After questioning and not be satisfied, Jockey B. Nikhil has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

The Stipendiary Stewards are looking into the running and riding of “MOONLIGHT KISS” and a report will be submitted shortly.

After the race, GOBBY was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. As such, the gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, DIVINE INTUITION was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have a gum injury.

After the race, LORD MURPHY and PRINCE IGOR were trotted and found to be sound.

After the race, WIND DANCER was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have an injury on left hind cannon.

The Equine Hospital reported that GOBBY had left eye injury (sore) with ulcer.

After the race, App. Bharat Singh (EARTH) reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (FONTANA) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer P. S. Chouhan has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, EARTH was observed to have lost its left hind shoe.

On arrival at the starting gate, at the request of Jockey Antony Raj S., GOOMAH was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified her fit to race.

At the start, MANOR HOUSE (P. Trevor, dr.6) jumped inwards and made contact with BETSY (App. Bharat Singh, dr.5).

At the start, SCARAMOUCHE (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.10) took an awkward jump.

Soon after the start, BAKLAVA (App. S. Siddharth) shifted in thereby starting a chain reaction thereby inconveniencing BETSY (App. Bharat Singh), APPLAUSE (S. Zervan) and JETFIRE (Prashant P. Dhebe). After questioning and not being satisfied, App. S. Siddharth has been fined Rs.1,000/-.

After the race, Jockey S. G. Prasad (STAR ROMANCE) reported loss of whip approaching the 300 metres. This being his 2nd instance during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

Approaching the 1200 metres, MARLBORO MAN (P. Trevor) shifted in and went across WE STILL BELIEVE (K. Nazil) who had to check and change course thereby inconveniencing MAJOR SAAB (Amyn Merchant).

It was observed that THE SENGOL QUEEN (App. S. Siddharth) drifted out in the straight and finished the race on the extreme outside. Trainer Sangramsinh N. Joshi has been asked show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.

Passing the 100 metres, Jockey T. S. Jodha (THE FLUTIST) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount further it was also observed that he was persisted with the whip from the left despite his mount shifting in. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey T. S. Jodha, this being his 3rd offence of using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, his Jockeys licence has been suspended for two race days i.e. on first two race days of Pune Meeting 2025 date of which will be intimated in due course (permitted to ride work/mock race).

Approaching the 50 metres WE STILL BELIEVE (K. Nazil) leaned out at the same time THE FLUTIST (T. S. Jodha) leaned in and they made contact. Jockeys K. Nazil and T. S. Jodha have been cautioned.
