Trainer B.Suresh questioned regarding the change in running style of STAR WAVES (Akshay Kumar) as compared to previous run where the horse had hit the front and was not given a breather. Trainer B.Suresh stated that considering the previous run he realised that his charge may perform better if saved in the early part therefore he had changed the pattern of running and the colt came out and won. His explanation was noted for future reference.

Racing Incidents

Jockey Chethan Gowda, the rider of SALWOOD was questioned regarding the riding in the early stages of the race wherein he dropped back and lost position, Jockey stated that he felt something wrong with his mount or the saddle and hence he had not ridden out to position his mount in the early stages of the race. The Club's Veterinary Officer was asked to examine the filly who reported that on examination on 15-01-2020 the filly was observed to be trotting lame on right fore.
