An objection was lodged by JockeyYashNarredu the rider of ROYAL ICON placed third by the judge against Jockey Hindu Singh the rider of SEMINOLE WIND placed 1st by the judge for" coming into the straight horse no 5 ridden byHindu Singh was 4-5 horses off the railing coming  into last 150 metres where my horse was  head  to  heel  with him,Jockey Hindu Singh has  deliberately  leaned  in and made sure that I had no galloping room because of which I had to completely stop riding which cost me a certain race".The Stewards interviewed both the Jockeys' and after viewing the cctv replay of the race several times decided to uphold the objection and revised the order of placings as follows:

Further Jockey Hindu Singh the rider of SEMINOLE WIND was fined a sum  of  Rs.5,000/-  for shifting in passing the 150 metres for no apparent reason forcing Jockey YashNarredu the rider of ROYAL ICON to check his mount, stumble and clip the heels of SEMINOLE WIND and drop back losing considerable ground.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that the left fore shoe of ROYAL ICON (YashNarredu) got splayed during the race.
