Soon after the start, MISS MUSTANG ( App Shah Alam drawn-4) jumped out on to AMAZING JOY (C Umesh drawn -5) at the same moment FALCONBRIDGE ( App Bharat Mal) also came on to him.Jockey C Umesh, the rider of AMAZING JOY got tightened .SAINTLY STAR (S Kabdhar) who was behind AMAZING JOY (C Umesh) got in convienced and dropped back.

Apprentice Jockey Shah Alam and Apprentice Jockey Bharat Mal, were cautioned and asked to have better control of their mounts.

The Club's Veterinary Officer was asked to examine AMAZING JOY who reported after the race that no abnormalities were found.

Trainer Vijay Singh questioned regarding the running of his charge AMAZING JOY (C Umesh) and his explanation noted.

Approaching 300 metres SILK STUFF (App Ram Nandan Manjhi) drifted out and leaned outwards taking out FALCONBRIDGE (App Bharat Mal).Apprentice jockey Ram Nandan

Manjhi, the rider of SILK STUFF was fined Rs 5000/- for not making sufficient efforts in the straight.He was further reprimanded for his style of whipping.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner SILK STUFF.

During routine Veterinary examination on 21/09/24 at 8.31am BROOK MAGIC was observed to have Pyrexia associated with Anorexia.Trainer B.Suresh was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next with.

DELIGHTED was presented wrongly for pre race identification , the matter was reported and the filly was permitted to be withdrawn.

Incident into the routine identification of horses by the Chief Veterinary Officer.

Incident into the routine identification of horse dk b filly 3 year DELIGHTED in the 3rd Race,Race No 22,Div-I The Be My Guest Handicap.

It was brought to the attention of the Chief Stipendiary Steward before the 3rd race during routine identification that the microchip number is not matching with that of dk b f 3 yr old DELIGHTED.When checked for marking to confirm the said horse it was found to be incorrect and not matching with dk b f 3yr(DELIGHTED).

Subsequently Horse no 8 dkb f 3 yr old DELIGHTED was withdrawn. Further an enquiry was initiated in this matter.

At the start,DAKSHIN VIJAY (Koshi Kumar drawn -3) jumped onwards to AVANTADOR (R Manish drawn -4) causing the latter to lose its footing who had to be steadied. Jockey Koshi Kumar, was cautioned.

After the race Jockey C A Brisson, the rider of ROYAL CHIVALRY was called and questioned regarding his riding on his mount. He stated his instructions were to be up there and do his best,he said the gelding does not have much speed and need longer distance, when pointed out where was his efforts in positioning, also his riding in the straight. Not being satisfied with the explanation he was asked to meet the Stewards Of the Club after the last race.

A Stewards Enquiry was held after the last race into the riding of Jockey C A Brisson on his mount B G 3 yr “ROYAL CHIVALRY ” in race No.22 –THE BE MY GUEST HANDICAP, run on Saturday 21st September 2024 in the Weighing room , Madras Race Club.

ORDER OF THE STEWARDS

Jockey C A Brisson was called in and questioned by the Stewards about his ride on b g 3 yr,“ROYAL CHIVALRY”.Jockey C A Brisson stated his instructions were to be up there and do his best, he also informed the gelding fly jumped at the start and said the gelding does not have much speed and needs longer distance. The race replay was shown in multiple angles and was pointed out by the Stewards why he has not made enough effort to improve after the start was effected. He replied if he allows a free run the gelding stops and when held back he gives the best, he also mentioned the race was fast being five and half furlong. Back view of the race replay was shown and it was pointed to the Jockey where was his effort in positioning thus placing his mount to a disadvantage position, not keeping up with the field and not making any move till the final furlong in the straight. The Stewards informed Jockey C A Brisson , if he had put in better efforts he would have finished much closer than running fourth, and the outcome of the Race Result would have been different. It was evident in the race replays that Jockey has not ridden to the best of his ability and not given the horse any chance in the race .Not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey C A Brisson. After deliberating the matter, the Stewards decided to suspend Jockey's C A Brisson under Rule no 159 (b) of the Madras Race Club rules of racing read under “The rider of every horse shall take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race to ensure that, his horse is given full opportunity to win or to obtain the best possible place in the field” and by the Calendar Notification for unsatisfactory riding on his mount b g 3 yr "ROYAL CHIVALRY" in race no 22 run on Saturday 21st September 2024 and decided to suspend his jockey's license for Four Race Days, effectively on the following dates:- 5th October 2024, 12th October 2024, 19th October 2024 and 26th October 2024.
 
He was also severely warned to be more careful on his future rides.

He was permitted to ride work and was informed about his “Right to Appeal”.

During routine veterinary examination on 21/09/24 at 8.32am it was observed, SPECULATION (Shah Alam) had a sore on left fore hoof.Trainer B.Suresh was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next with.

Permission was granted to Trainer Ramanathan R to declare Jockey Yash Narredu,to ride KNOTTY ONE in place of Jockey Vivek.G who missed his flight and could not fulfill his riding engagements for the day.

At the start LIGHT THE WORLD (C Umesh)jumped outwards at the same time MORISET (C A Brisson) who was on his inside had to be steadied.Jockey C Umesh,was cautioned.

Approaching the 200 metres GAJABO GRANDE (M.S.Deora) shifted in due to which BERTHA ( Apprentice Jockey Bharat Mal) who was on the rails was tightened and inconvienced had to be checked.Jockey M.S.Deora,was reprimanded.

Permission was granted to Trainer Ramanathan R to declare Jockey Koshi Kumar,to ride KNOTTY IN BLUE in place of Jockey Vivek.G.

At the start,LADY WONDER (Ram Nandan Manjhi drawn-6) jumped inwards and went across EMPRESS ETERNAL (Apprentice Jockey Bharat Mal drawn -5)who was marginally slow to begin,causing the latter to be steadied.

Passing the 1000 metres,RELIC WARRIOR ( Sah Farid Ansari) leaned on to ASIO (Yash Narredu) thereafter KNOTTY IN BLUE (Koshi Kumar) leaned inwards due to which ALL STARS (P.Sai Kumar)who was on the rails was tightened for room,stumbled repeatedly and dropped back.Jockey Sah Farid Ansari, was reprimanded.

Approaching the 75 metres,DANNY’S GIRL (P.S.Kaviraj)who was on the rails shifted out and carried LADY WONDER (Ram Nandan Manjhi).Jockey P.S.Kaviraj, was reprimanded.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that no abnormalities were found in ALL STARS (P.Sai Kumar).

PNEUMA (B.R.Kumar)was very fractious inside the gates and was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starter's orders.

At the start, NEW DIMENSION (Yash Narredu drawn-4) jumped outwards on to SUPREME GRANDEUR (Sah Farid Ansari drawn-5) who in turn went on to STILL I RISE (C Umesh),SLAINTE (P.Vikram) who was in between both the horses had to check. Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of NEW DIMENSION was severely cautioned to be more careful at the start.

Permission was granted to Trainer Ramanathan R to declare Jockey C Umesh, to ride SHEER ELEGANCE in place of Jockey Vivek.G.

At the start KEY TO THE MINT (P.S.Kaviraj drawn -8) jumped outwards carrying DIAMOND AND PEARLS (Ram Nandan Manjhi).

IMPIANA (P.Vikram) fly jumped.

DEAR LADY (R Manish) slowly away losing 2 lengths at the start.

across ILLUSTRIOUS RULER (Sah Farid Ansari) further BRILLIANT LADY (Yash
Narredu) who was in between ILLUSTRIOUS RULER ( Sah  Farid  Ansari) and SHEER

ELEGANCE (C Umesh) who was on the rails caused BRILLIANT LADY (Yash Narredu) to bump in between them who got unbalanced.

After questioning all the concerned Jockeys Sah Farid Ansari and P.S.Kaviraj  were cautioned.

Apprentice Jockey Ram Nandan Manjhi, the rider of DIAMOND AND PEARLS was fined Rs 2000/- for excessive use of whip.(2nd Offence)

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner DIAMOND AND PEARLS (Ram Nandan Manjhi).

Permission was granted to Trainer Deepesh Narredu to declare Jockey B.R.Kumar, to ride MULTIFLORA in place of Jockey Yash Narredu who was indisposed and could not fulfill his riding engagement
