CASTEEL FANCIED FOR MULTI-MILLION

The first plum of the season, the Srikantadatta Narasimharaaja Wadiyar Multi-Million has failed to attract a sizeable field, only four contestants lining up for the feature event to be run over a distance of seven furlongs on the opening day of the season on Thursday.

In this small field, the Sulaiman Attaollahi schooled Del Aviz and Casteel from the stables of Satish Narredu, the two Bengaluru raiders are set to dominate the finish, the latter holding the cutting edge. The Nilgiris Derby winner Royal Defender is the `Joker’ in the pack and is certain to add pep to the finish.
