Jockey Surya Prakash, the rider of CHAITANYA was severely cautioned for maintaining an erratic course in the straight.

Jockey Nakhat Singh, the rider of SUPREME EXCELSIORwas fined a sum of Rs.3,000/-for excessive use of the whip for excessive use of the whip on his mount. (1st Infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winnerSUPREME EXCELSIOR (Nakhat Singh).

Permission was granted to TrainerK. S. Mandannato withdrawWELCOME CHAKKARAM (R Manish)onveterinary grounds (lame on right fore).Hewas further informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

AMENDMENT (C A Brisson)was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on Rightfore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr.B.Suresh was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before nextaccepting with it.

Jockey B.R.Kumar, the rider of OTUS reported that his reigns slipped from his hands for a few strides soon after the start.

Permission was granted to TrainerJ.Sebastianto withdrawRADICAL REVIEW (B.R.Kumar)on veterinary grounds(lame on right fore).Hewas further informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

STAR ELEGANT (Surya Prakash) andCOTTON HALL (P.Koushik)were slow to start losing about alengtheach.

JockeyR Manish, the rider of BOOMS LANG was fined a sum of Rs.1,000/-for shiftingout under the use of whip in the final stages of the race.

JockeyNakhat Singh, the rider of AKIDO was fined a sum of Rs.3,000/-for shifting in soon after the start forcing inGOLDEN MARINA (P.Sai Kumar) who in turn shifted in and caused interference toPAINTED APACHE (Surya Prakash) unbalancing the rider and further shifting in unbalancingUNMATCHED (Kuldeep Singh).

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards ordered and held an enquiry into the running of the Race with particular reference to the start of “HOPE AND GLORY” (R. Manish) in the above Race.

The Stewards held an Enquiry and interviewed the official Starter Mr. Siddharth Dhamasenan and Dr. T. Jayendra Balaji. They examined Jockey R. Manish, the rider of “HOPE AND GLORY”. They repeatedly viewed the CCTV replay of the Race.

After taking into consideration the above, the Stewards concluded as follows:-

1.As the Start was affected by the Starter, “HOPE AND GLORY” reared up.

2.The handler having to hold the Horse and did not release the reins even though the start has been effected. This was corroborated by the Starter as also the Jockey of the Horse Mr. R. Manish In the light of the above, the Stewards after due deliberations decided to declare “HOPE AND GLORY”, a non-starter in the above Race.

Jockey C.A.Brisson and TrainerB.Suresh were questioned regarding the running and riding ofROYAL CURRENCY. Trainer stated that his instructions were to hit the front or sit second if chased and do his best in the straight as the filly had a single short burst. The Jockey corroborated the instructions given by the Trainer and stated that he tried to save his mount for as long as he could and hence began riding out only on entering the straight. The explanations tendered were noted for future reference.

JockeyB.R.Kumar, the rider of GOLDEN STREAK and JockeyKuldeep Singh, the rider of BEFORETHEDAWN were fined a sum of Rs. 1000 each for carrying their whip into the paddock for a no whip race. The Whips were taken backbefore the jockey's left the paddock.
