'breaking Bounds' For Juvenile Sprinters' Million

By Smart-still-poor-punter | 05-Jul-2019

Hi,

Breaking Bounds' created an outstanding impression during the just-concluded Ooty season, and looking at its very first run I was astonished. I immediately wrote here that this animal will her next outing, although she finished only third in her maiden appearance. She readily won her next outing, in a soft going and, more importantly, in a very smart time. When it won in the hands of a lesser-known jockey (Shahar Babu), I wondered if the connections will take this horse to Bengaluru. And here comes Breaking Bounds to make its presence felt in the Juvenile Sprinters' Million.

By inviting Zervan, the in-form rider, to do the duty, trainer B Suresh has really enhanced the chances of the mount and it will be no surprise if 'Breaking Bounds' opens as a 2/1 favourite even?

For the past several years I have seen that Ooty horses prove nothing when taken to outstations but 'Breaking Bounds' looks like breaking the jinx.

Still let's see...it's after all racing!

Hi Friends, I am really sorry if I had misguided by posting this. My intention was not that. I also agree that I should hv not been so over enthudiastic. I still expect a lot from this animal this season. That the horse finished ahead of 'Roma Victor' itself is a strong indication in that direction.

Some one who is not playing for years interested in racing ?.  Diverting real punters maybe the target. What else?. It's pity for their interest ,, hope so they won't next time.  If we r hard core punters can suggest anything if playing the same horse genuinely.

Dam of storm breaker haunting memories was winner of 2 1200m races ridden by champion jockey b prakash the verdict was 6 1/2 and 21/4 lengths bloodline clearly shows that storm breaker can be very sharp at this distance trainer is also known to prepare joker in pack with blinkers on storm breaker easily won previous race as monsoon has not yet arrived in banglore this may be the day to storm break

@Smart Still Poor..

Breaking Bounds demerits for this race.

1. It's from Ooty and hence cannot with in first run Bangalore due to change in Track condition and track design.

2. Horse is not a sprinter. He won in 1600m and you cannot expect him to do a Sprint at this level again.

3. I am sure he is bound to run an educational run today. Just to see where he stands.

4. For those who are guessing Winner.. It would be SITARA all the way. He was good second to s superior horse on the last meeting in Class 2.

5. Storm Breaker will not Win

Roma Victor will  place for Sure.

A big Upset could be Mizlikazi

Its very easy to tip a long shot, specially when you yourself are not betting on it.  If it wins, its gagaga, if its a loss, open a new thread and give another long shot.

Bangalore races juvenile sprinter's million (Gr.3)

5th race

Horse no:6

Drawn no:

STORM BREAKER's going to win this event from the rest of the merited entries as it has both the breeding and benefit of a run on both C&D.My opinion and choice is very clear for the Colt to lift the sprinter's million maybe not in style but definitely in a fight,even though the combination of trainer have been a disappointment in delivering result most of the time,I'm wishing that the combination that had saddled sea quest the previous year and will expect them to reproduce the same as there is no set back from the horse's view.

Well cheers and go y'all.hoping that the best horse will win.

In racing any horse can win if things fall in place for it. In sprint and long distance race even donkeys can sprout wings. Sprint races are invariably run at wrong pace (either too slow or to fast) and then you have horses running out of steam and creating a traffic problem and sometimes it becomes a 300 meters dash. Similarly jockeys misjudge the pace in long distance race and one sees very unusual results in such races. This is where jockeys who have international experience score consistently over our Indian lads. Because here boys are racing against each other and reacting to what other's do in a race. Instead of placing their mounts at the best possible position and run the race at the best pace possible. One of the high profile example is Hall of Famer Indian Derby David Allan took the lead which wasn't her style because he needed to run the race as per her pace. When Mallesh Narredu was forced to employ a similar tactic on Set Alight he first fought the horse to try and restrain her, when he couldn't settle her he let her run her own race and he was out foxed by a S A DSouza on Antonios. Having said all this! To tip horses which practically have no chance and starting a post is very harmful to racing. While the said Madrasi horse could cross the post first, yet nothing in conventional racing wisdom points to that. Any race should have 2-3 genuine contenders and rest can win yet that should be accepted as an     exception. The 3 horses which should throw the winner of this race are Roma Victor Sitara and Storm Breaker. Incase none of these 3 have reasons to win one can eat trio (not all have the option to do so) yet to tip a horse from the other four is like predicting the lottery. If any race doesn't not give you 2-3 genuine contenders then skip that race. If there is only one contender then odds will be too less to make a profitable wager and if you have 4-5 probable winners then it's too risky to punt your hard earned money (I am assuming you do work hard for your money) There are 2 other races in the day where there are 2-3 contenders. 1st and 4th race Focus your energy, wisdom and resources in these 3 races and these 6-8 horses and your chances of winning are greatly increased and if you don't win any of these 3 races you lose 3 units of bets (unless you cover your win bets with place) Don't go playing every race every pool and then curse the jockeys, trainers, owners, clubs, tipsters, bookies and also your stars.

@ Rahul Gambhir - Yes, I did say punters are having a field day in Bengaluru and not in Mysuru or Kolkata. See the picks given by hard-working HTians like Mr S C Sharma. A solid majority of them hv won, isn't it? No punter valuing his hard-earned money will venture to Mysuru. I hv been telling this regularly but ppl like you are losing yr money freely in Mysuru and trying to find fault with me...please.

@smart_still poor punter,

Just recently you had posted that punters are having a good field day against the bookies and it was all blown to shreds last Mysore.

Now you are tipping an Ooty based horse for the Juvenile Million. ?
