Life Time Achievement Award To Veteran John Moore

By S C Sharma | 29-Jun-2020

The champions award judging panel at Hong Kong Jockeys Club decided the seven-time champion Australian based veteran trainer John Moore who has trained more than 1730 winners - more than anyone else in the history of HK racing, deserved to be acknowledged and honoured before he heads to Sydney, Australia after the conclusion of this current racing season.
John Moore turned 70 and hence forced into retirement as per HKJC rules of racing will be honoured at the jockey club's 2019-20 champions awards to be held at Rosewood HK on Thursday, July 16. Than JM will move to Sydney . Last week he produced a good double at Sha-Tin and now this news of lifetime achievement award for his contribution to HK racing  is really a celebration time for him.  I wish the old trainer tons of good luck and duwaas for his future endeavours and a happy and long peaceful life with good health with his family at Sydney, Australia.

Countries like Australia , New-Zealand UK and Germany having representatives in HKJC as trainers. They are posted to look after their bloodstock supplies. Hkjc is purchasing around 600 horses of various ages around the world, especially from the above breeding counties If John Moore continued in Australia he may achieve more wins. But his record is impeccable as hkjc racing is performance based . Happy retirement life to John Moore
