The 43rd day of the meeting had four winners, including The Rock, sweating out for their achievements and moreover none of professionals was able to reach into double figure. A Khan trainee, The Rock, who has failed to attain the previous season form, has been seen struggling throughout the ongoing calendar. The latest victory was also not convincing. Though he was prominent before grabbing the opportunity to step into the leader's boot but his supremacy was challenged by none other than the stablemate and six year-old grey mare Just Like A Woman. He had to fight for an every inch of ground before getting the half-a-body length better of the latter. Earlier, the chestnut colt, who had received a severe setback at the hands of Quality Assurance over six furlongs in the last week, might not have ever thought of such treat even over the pet distance of mile. It appeared that Just LIke A Woman, who has been looking for a win after a gap of over a year, has come to hands and soon be able to fulfil her desire. Sun Dancer, who was in tremendous form before the outbreak of the Equine Influenza, was unnecessarily pushed to exhaust her steam chasing the leader till the top of the homestraight before finishing third. Intricate, who spent her time in rear, was seen finishing to be impressive fourth. Time and Again, who had been playing the role of second fiddle in last two outings, finally earned a hard-fought victory after foiling the start-to-finish bid of Afreen over seven furlongs Grey Gaston Plate. Miracle Maker, who was in hunt for second straight win, failed to defy penalty. The horse is expected to make amends. The run of Rain Dance is best ignored. Zabardast was the next close survivor in the China Visit Plate, which was made for the class three horses. The favourite colt made a quick recovery from the fourth place to come into position from where he could set his sight on top. He made the leading Divine Height scapegoat. However, the more surprising and impressive turn of foot was of More Than A Woman, who came from rear and finished at the haunches of the duo. She should strike soon. Keep an eye on Charg Away. Sonic Boom ended his winning drought in the curtain down event of the day - Razeen Plate. The six-year-old gelding stood toll in front of Murban, who was in pillar-to-post-essay. The latter may take a lot of beating into his strides in the next venture. Ashwa Pallavi is knocking at the door. Desert Falcon caught the eye finishing fourth after coming from nowhere. Earlier, jockey Gajendra Singh shekhawat made no mistake on Crossword to come out of the maiden status in the Wandering Angel Plate. The mare should complete an encore. Apprentice jockey Faraz waheed, who hails from Bangalore, earned his corn bill on Elegant Fashion. the victory will certainly boost the moral of Faraz, who has still to work hard.
