State-of-the-art Jockeys’ Room at RCTC

New Jockeys Room at Kolkata
The Royal Calcutta Turf Club will on Tuesday inaugurate the new Baqlava Enclave, housing the weighing room, the stipendiary stewards room, the jockey's medical facilities room, the jockey’s dressing room, the cafeteria, a state of the art sauna as well as the unsaddling enclosure adjoining the paddock. A presentation podium, as well as a lounge for the Club members complete the facilities in the enclave.
The Baqlava Enclave is named after the famous brown English gelding of the forties who among his many races bagged the Viceroy's Cup in 1940 and The Eclipse Stakes of India in1941.
